YOUTH CENTER FOR CHILDREN
The Rowland Youth Club provides the youths of our community with programs such as: Drug abuse, Teen pregnancy, Sexual abuse and Domestic violence and we also have recreational activities such as: Dance classes, sports and other after school activities and training programs.
We are providing a safe space for the children in our community most of these kids don't have anything to do most of the parents of the community work. We are here to provide some structure in their lives and give them a sense of responsibility also something to look forward to during the day, we also provide them with training in work related areas. The Rowland Youth Club and the community center brings jobs to the community. The center is open six days a week and we have a 1-800 number for kids that need someone to talk to or have an emergency, this is a 24 hour hotline.
We also have a youth volunteer program that provides help to the elderly and disabled. With the right help and community interactions the children of Pike County PA will have positive role models this will keep our children away from negativity. We also support our program through donations, fundraisers and grants.
