YOUTH CENTER FOR CHILDREN

This plan is for my day care center; My name is Dorean Davis I opened up a community center in Rowland, North Carolina in 1996. I love to work with children and help other people as well.

I believe I have a wonderful plan for opening up a daycare center. It consists of being open 24 hrs a day for the mothers that work at night and can’t find sitters for their children. The first thing that I will do, in the hiring process, is do a through background check, to ensure the safety of the children. I also plan on putting cameras in every room where the children are in so that the parents can sign onto a private network and check in once in awhile to see their children.

This is one way to keep child abuse out of my center, this is a program I believe my parents will feel their children are in a safe environment knowing they can see their children at all times.

My center will also consist of a pre-school for those who have to attend school the following year.

Parents will also be encouraged to visit the center periodically- and take a tour of the facility , to further their understanding of what transpires on a daily basis. I believe this daycare center will be a big help to the community in several different ways, the main one being it will provide and safe and nurturing environment, which will be the basis for the development, of a productive member of society later in life. I will expect the very best from my employees and evaluate them constantly, to ensure that they are, maximizing their potential, which translates into the children doing the same.

As the center progresses and stabilizes, new centers will be opened, where they are needed, all adhering to standards of excellence, while simultaneously meeting the needs of the specific locale that they are servicing

Teachers $22 / Hr X 40Hours per week = $45,760.00/ YR

Teacher’s aides $13 /Hr X 40 = $27.040.00/YR

Supplies Notebooks-etc. $1200.00/YR

Equipment Tables and chairs $ 5000.00

Refrigerator $ 1400.00

Microwave $ 100.00

Lease $1500.00/MO. = $ 18000.00/YR

Utilities $ 200.00/ MO = $ 1200.00/YR
